Hey guys,
I am looking to put a little system together and was wondering if some or anyone here could help me out.
I own a 04 Dodge Ram Quad Cab and looking to put in either two 12” or two 10” subs under the rear seats of the cab.
The sub box consist of max cubic feet of .75 (each box). So I am very limited to space due to the box. I know I could do more if I was the take out the rear seats, but that will not happen because it is also a family truck and I do haul kids //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
So the setup of subs I was looking at is:
(1st option)
(2) 10” Pioneer TS-W100D2 (2-ohms)
Amp called AutoTek AT1500 (Stable @ 2ohms. 750x2((I think this is RMS also)).
Total cost $250.00
(2nd option)
Also a buddy of mine called me that lives in FL and offered his old setup which consist of (1) Memphis 250x1 , monoblock amp and (1) JL Audio w3 12 sub.
Total cost $200.00
~ But after looking @ the specs of that sub, it requires at least 1 cubic ft. So his JL sub maybe out of the question. I may however maybe buy his Memphis amp and buy one 12” or 10” sub that would.
If I was to go with option 2 and buy my bro’s amp, what sub should be recommend or should I go with option #1?
Also in consideration I hear that the Phoenix Gold RSd10d subs are pretty sweet and it requires a small foot print for cubic feet
Thanks all
