Ok, I'm not talking about the dewalt cordless drill stuff lol, but I've been seeing that the sundown saz-3000d can do 5000 watts on an 18 volt system, so I was wondering how do you make your car run 18 volts, probably get an 18 volt battery first but what else do you need to do?

I believe it's done with an external regulator that has a 12v output and 18v output. You hook the car up to the 12v and your system to the 18v. I don't know for sure though so I may be wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

u have to have an alternator built that will put out the 18 volts and then u will have to but and adj voltage regulator and then you will have to have a 3 post battery or a way to step the voltage back down to 14volts or so to run the rest of the car on i have got 3 alternators on mine one is the stock one for the truck and the other 2 are for the amps

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
