most people throw anywhere from 300 to 450 at em depending on the amp quality. anyhow stick around 400 and you should be bangin

Im sending my two 8s roughly 700 watts and they love it. I THINK the entire assassin line has the same motor so you should be good with around 300-400 clean watts.

I had mine running off of about 300w or so in a sealed .70cuft box. I think if you can get one for $15 its a steal.

I'm giving mine 375 a piece and it works fine, but I do have to keep the volume down a little bit on some rap songs to keep them from overworking.

with the amp i would go with a little headroom on the power and just watch the gains. that will let you upgrade your sub(s) later on and not buy new amps.

Go with that Hifonics you posted above. It'll probably only output 300-350w, which would be more than ideal for most applications that aren't looking for heavy bass output. I'm pushing mine to the limit, perhaps past it in some cases, but they still sound good with only 300w each (I've played with the gains just to see how well they do with different amounts of power).
