Easiest way to strip a basket for paint or powdercoat

Well i want a custom look to my DD1508 but a regualr 12 spoke basket like whats on the SA8 has a different pattern, so im just gonna have the stamped one powdercoated. Several people told me whole much of a PIA stipping the old paint off is for powdercoat but i didnt find it hard at all.

that was the original plan with this but then dad showed me the "magic bucket" lol. soaked it about 30 mins and the paint had already bubbled up. rinsed it all off and its soaking for another 30 to get the last few spots off.
