Anyone have a spare laying around? Interested in a Webstar DPC2100 or a Linksys BEFCMU10. It doesnt really matter as long as its cheap.

radioshack had a great deal on the netgear modems..I bought mine last year for ~$40 brand new.

I have a Netgear WGR614v7 wireless router. I checked Radioshacks website and I couldnt find anything very cheap. I can take another peek though. Cheapest they have is $80.

I would def go with the 5101 over the first one. It's a much better modem.

First one is ugly as hell. Second one is sold. I bid on a Linksys I found. They have been going for about 5-$10 plus a couple in shipping.

motorola surfboard ones are the most solid ones personally. i work for comcast those i have the best luck with, i would get a SB5101 or newer

Im not going to go with a branded modem. Ill be using one that I can carry from provider to provider. The Surfboards are going for about $20-$60 + shipping.
