Really just wasn't sure between 3 10's or 2 12's, what would be louder?

the three 10" subs have slightly higher cone area, but it also depends on power on how loud they get.

I'll be running a trx2000d amp, should that be enough to power them? What size box should these be getting? Sealed or ported?

are those IDs the IDMax or IDQ? Or is that another type of ID sub?
if that amp is rated 2000@1ohm then it should be more than enough power for the FI or the ID

I have read that many people put like 1000-1200 to there Fi ssd's, but the id's are rated at like 400 rms, I'll probably put like 600 to them than.
So ID's sound better, but do you think they will be just as loud too?

I would probably choose the SSD 12's with copper coil.
the image dynamics id10v3's are rated at 350rms and the ssd's are rated at 800rms. That is not really an equal sided choice. Unless you are talking about the image dynamics idq subs then it would be a more comparable decision.
