zx-6 vs gsx r 600

I personally love my gsxr-600...I've rode a zx 6 and didn't care for the way i sat on it and the way it turns...the gixxer just handled very well, and fell into the turns without trying...It was my first bike to start on, but it was my favorie out of the cbr, yamaha, and zx6...Couldn't go wrong and plus its cheaper then the others...

Ha!

cheaper tahn the others i think not..

i think whatever bike runs the best looks the best etc.. i wouldn't go with a newer bike get a crappy older one first get used to it and if u drop it no sweat off your back.

My first bike is a 1999 Honda F4 and i LOVED it.. I rode my buddys R6 my buddy's daytona the gixxer 600 and out of all of them my 600 was most comfertable. all the bikes where faster and some handled better but my ride was comfertable

i would choose zx-6 over the gixxer but only because im not on the gixxer bandwaggon (like everyone else is)

i would go gixxer 6 beacuse its a very popular beginners bike on the other hand by buddy had a zx-10 and will never ride a gixxer again he said

and i bet that 750 costs more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have an 05 636 and it rocks. all the big 4 companies bikes are similar. just sit on a few and see what feels right. and i'm sure all the 600s are up to the task of moving 225 lbs.

i'm a little heavier than you at 6'3 240 but the only bike i felt right on was the the gixxer. I say try and ride a friends and see which you like best. the 750 is a great bike as well. Last time i checked, the gixxer was cheaper than the zx-6.

GSXR For sure bro. Now to your question 600 or 750 that's hard. Test ride them if they will let you. If not how much do you know about bikes. A 750 is a little more for a beginner to handle, but considering your weight it's a possibility I would get the 750. Honestly I'd get it. It may sound stupid but my first bike was a gsxr1000 liter bike. Don't go out and get a gsxr1000, because I was scared of the thing for months until I finially got used to it. But I had been riding motocross all my life before that.

well dis willl be my firs time ever really geddin on 2 wheels i love both bikes and the guy said the zx would run me 8700 while the gixxer i can get for around 6900 i just have desire to go fast and naintain gas mqileage

As far as performance goes, if you are buying a new 600 sportbike from the big 4 you won't notice a difference if you are only a beginner. They are all monsters.

As far as a beginner bike goes i thnk the GSXR is more streetable than the Kawi. That might just be personal preference though.

Honestly you should just go with the bike that you think looks the best.

And i wouldnt go with a 750 if you are a beginner. If i were you i would be looking at a zzr600, F4I or a yzf600r. They both have over 100hp, look good, and are a hell of a lot more forgiving than the GSXR, R6, CBR600RR, or ZX-6.

I like the Gixxer 600, mainly because I have one. lol

I recommend getting a used bike if you're a beginner though. Plus you can always sell it later after gaining experience and buy a new one.
