First off, the skar 8s parameters are better suited towards sealed boxes, and if you did want to go ported with skar, you’d need them in a large ported box to get them to perform well. Sundown 8s are far better geared to put into ported enclosures, and the enclosure can be really small as well. You’d need to put the skar into 2 cubes to compete with what the sundown can do in less than half that space. Sometimes quality comes in the form of efficiency, and sundown stomps all over every subwoofer skar has to offer.</p></blockquote><p></p>
