IDK much about the Zapco but I buy a lot of Audio Control stuff and it works great. Double your budget and buy my ARC DXE, it does way more.

I'd get the zapco only if you can get it cheaper. They seem to be pretty close in features, but AC offers a 24db/octave x-over as opposed to zapco's 18db/octave.

fly_marlin does that make a big difference in 18db and 24db I'm running two sundown x12 on two sundown scv 2000 in my 04 honda v6 in a bandpass 4th order box and two 10's and six 6.5 on a american bass sq3200.4 and six tweeters horns on american bass sq 475 the only reason i pick the zapco over the ac is because it gave me 5 bands over ac 3bands to play with

The AC does have the 40-8Hz parametric in addition to the other 3 bands. I've always been a fan of Zapco and not many people have that anymore. Go with the zapco, unless it just costs a lot more than AC.
