Showrides AIM conversation with Acidburn. This is it. I (Showrides) was banned by him last night. You are all smart people and quite capable of making up your minds on this one. You be the judge and decide if this was a good ban, or if I was clearly being picked on. I will not be posting again, so you guys can debate this one yourselves. AcidBurn2053: It's been a long standing rule that no dealers are allowed to make a profit from our forums. Frankly, you've been ignored for far too long. It should have been made clear as soon as you started using our forum for your profit that it is strictly prohibited.

ShowRidesNet: okay so denim, mark, and other dealers were banned as well?

AcidBurn2053: Personally, I have not seen a post where they advertise their store. They are allowed to post about their new sub however because that's from a manufacturers position.

AcidBurn2053: Honestly, it doesn't even matter. As a voted-in moderator, it's my discretion to decide what's ok and what's not on our forum, and we all know you're a dealer. I made a decision, and that is law. If you have a problem with it, talk to the Admin. He's the only one that can change a thing.

I mean I guess PMS from showrides would be trying gain profit. And tho i didn't mind them I cant lie, when I was looking for help deciding between some amps he pmed and tried to sell from his store instead of the choices I looked at.

While he does bring up some valid issues that probably should have been worked out beforehand, either via email or aim or whatever, its the subsequent behavior that would make me personally (if I were a mod/admin that is) reluctant to allow continued usage of this forum to him.

End of my opinion on the matter, and geez, lets just drop it already. Both parties are capable of working it out behind the scenes without blatant e-drama stunts like this.

There is no justice on this forum, its mostly just a bunch of kids who think they are cool flirting with each other on an internet forum. There ARE double-standards, and you can't do shit about it. The reason being that goob doesn't give a shit. He is the only one that matters, yet you are arguing with the OBVIOUSLY biased mods on this forum for no reason. Atleast be smart and switch up your game plan, or just give up and go on with life.

there seems to be a lot of beef going on with you and your store... i am not on many other car audio forums where the problems seem to happen. and that is kind of lame that a lot of other people make money off the forums and you get singled out without any request or attempts to correct whatever bad action happened.

Honestly, I think Ben (Showrides) is a really nice guy. I have had nothing but good things to say about anytime that I have come into contact with him.
