9515g tuned to 40 has a pretty flat response but peaks 48-49

I had my daily tuned to 34Hz and it sounded awesome and moved a lot of air on the lows, but sounded like crap in the 45Hz range. I cut the port back and raised it to 40Hz and it sounds so much better on everything now.

The environment, your vehicle, plays just as a big a role in final performance as does the sub and enclosure when it comes to freq response. So you telling us your specific example only gives us an idea what we could expect if we owned the same car as you.

The graph gunz4me posted may suffer from the same problem. Not enough info was given with the graph to really learn anything from it. Not many of us own an anechoic chamber, and enclosure alignment also affects freq response (obviously), so a freq response graph from an RTA should not be looked at as defining the raw speaker's freq response potential.
