So I would like to hear your thoughts...

Will be purchasing a new h-u and I have learned a heck of a lot on this site in the last couple days. The most important - start with the h-u when building a decent system.

What I have:

2007 Ford Limited w/ Stock AMP and Sub (will eventually replace)

4 - 6822 Infinity Reference for front & rear. Bought them before I started my research but its def. an upgrade from stock.

I want to get into an Alpine because I hear many good things on the boards here. In the past I have always used Pioneer and was pleased.

I have the money to spend on a 9887 but I was wondering if this unit is beyond my means in regard to what i currently have and also knowing that I will have to pay more for the upgrades. They intrigue me but are costly.

I listen to a lot of Electronic, Trance, Post Rock, Coldplay etc.

Would like the best bang for my buck.

$200-300 Budget for the H-U.

Ideas - comments - input

Thanks.

Sorry. Like I stated, I would look at the Alpine 9886. You can get them brand new for $300. Has USB, iPod, 3 set rca outputs, and it looks cool. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
