A pair of the DVC 2ohm version will wire to .5ohm, 2ohm, or 8ohm.

If you wire to .5ohm, you need to make sure the amp is stable to .5ohm.

Did you buy the sub already?

If so they come standard with dual 2 ohm coils, so a 1 ohm load is as low as you can go with each sub.
