XXX unhappy :(

try a different sub, see if it still pops on and off, if it doesn't, that means your xxx is ****ed, if it still does it, then you're in for a hell of a ride with wiring and components.
Huh, if it DOES keeping popping randomly, you say the sub is ****ed... can you explain exactly why you say this? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif I honestly know of no way a speaker will 'blow' that makes it randomly 'pop' every once in a while. The speaker is fine.

IMO the problem does not sound like a speaker issue, but rather a problem with a component upstream (h/u, eq, xover, etc). That 'pop' sounds like an internal electrical noise (such as an amp's turn-on pop).

ooh and if your talking about the video thats not mine\/ thats a 12, i dont really damage it much so i dont know why, and its was reconed from RE like end of may when i bought it from a guy i sent it to RE so its not really even 2 months old, and i havnt really killed it yet so i dont know

thats what it is i know, the amp restarts kinda and it dosent have a pop eliminator so it pops when it turns on i just have to figure out what is making it do it, which i do not know

Stfu B!tch

bite me, ive tried to figure out what is wrong with it but i cant just pop out little answers and its magically fixed and i dont have much free time where i ca actually work on it

anway, on/off thump is definitely not normal, and it could possibly be related to the popping your experiencing. Do you get alternator whine as well?

the on off thump is what the popping is, and im waiting on my alt back from nathan should be here tomorrow or monday but my stock alt does **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif but i dont get any whining noises

oh, ok, I see now, my old rockford amp did that, the caps were damaged.

Look into that, and like they said, check under the hood, the wiring may be loose.

When I got my 500 D class, it wouldn't work at high volume, would shut off and on.

Turned out, the fuse holder was burned up, becuase I had a higher rated fuse in there than I should have.

Got a real fuse setup, no problems since.

okay as in caps you mean on the amp or capactiors?

my fuse holder upfront has a 300a fuse in it i run 1/0 that is only fse big enough they had unless i wanted a 100a fuse

in the back fuse distro i only have a 100a fuse until i can get a bigger one and the distro is powering the a3000 and ov2 400, i meant to get a new fuse last week dang, but they wanted 13$ for a 150a lightening audio fuse i laughed at him right there, i only gave like 7$ for 2 300a kicker fuses at the same store so i think he didnt know the price on them
