XXX comps

ok so this is a slightly off-topic question but if i run comps in the front and coax's in the back how should i amp them? should i get a 4 channel or run the coax's off the HU and get a two? any thoughts are appreciated

RE has a much better IMAGE than Adire (well not counting the presidents...) IMO, I feel as though Adire could do much better with an image revamp, but then again it would probably end up being a clone of RE.

Someone should start a thread with only people who've USED or HEARD the XXX comps may apply and give their opinions, not people going off of image and hearsay giving theirs

hey guys just a quick update, i just got an e-mail back from RE and looks like it's gonna be $165 for the RE series comps, and $425 for the XXX series comps

not bad prices at all, im sure the XXX will be one crazy nice set with some serious midbass.

yea but the word is that the XXX's will need their own enclosure. i'm thinkin for 165 the RE's are a perfect budgeted comp set, especially if they have XBl^2

That's not a rumor either. That's straight from the horse's mouth. The XXX mids are designed to be used in an enclosure. IB would work, but performance would be less than stellar...........

Someone has to buy it, in order for someone else to hear about it....if we all sat back and waited....we wouldn't get too far, now would we?

FYI: I was told around .1-.18 ft^3 sealed for the XXX mid...
