The mids are pretty deep and heavy. 3 3/4" deep. tweeters are a larger format than most others as well counting the flange.

Too deep for my ride but a great set of components. I had a set in my previous truck and they sounded great and could handle lots of abuse.

I am trying to see if this would be perfect match for my 2004 ford explorer.. I want to place it in my stock speaker location if possible..

Also I have kicker zx650.4 which should be good for this set?

the 6.5 speakers are 3.75" deep. they most likely would need pods I would GUESS, unless you do not have a window to get in the way when rolling down. They are pretty heavy for 6.5's as well
