hello im working on a 1979 mazda rx7 and in planing on puting 1 10'' sub in is the xxx 10 bona be nice in a single ported encolsure i dont want [loud loud ] i just want a nice clean loud note if ya know what i mean ty in advance for any replys

The XXX in a good ported box in a hatchback will get about as loud as you would want. You really cannot beat it on price vs output etc. It just depends on how loud you want it, it will play loud @ 500 watts but could handle 1500 depending on the exact enclosure. You will not be disappointed.

I would do about 1.5-2 cubes, 30-40 sq inches of port, and tuned to 30ish.

they have always handled 1600rms

two? u would have to call from pricing to your door, but XXX's are around 400 bucks depending on size. 10" would be less.
