XM radio question????

i put in my xm radio and its working but the sound is just awful, its a real high pitched whine and you have to turn it up really loud just to hear it. the high pitched sound also increases when i rev the engine up, i redid the ground so i dont think that is it. any help would be great.

If you are hearing the noise when your engine is on then it is the ground. Does this problem occur only when XM is on, or does it happen all the time?

tell us how u wired eveyrthing. maybe u did some wiring wrong

i grounded it where have my amp grounded and my amp works fine and doesnt make the noise, i hooked the yellow wire to the yellow wire to my cd player and the red to the red on my cd player and ran the rcas from the xm unit to the back of my cd player to the inputs

i also am only getting music out of my left speakers, my right ones just have the high pitched noise
