tends to get a bit cranky
Just thought I would share. Just got done with XM training (and won a free Airware //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ) and was advised Terk will be producing the XM Direct units for Eclipse within the next 30-45 days. Made me happy enough to dump my Sirius soon...

XM usually comes through with things, unlike the "other" company. Ive heard in the past as well, just not from relaible sources.
I just like Sirius Rock stations better hands down. As well as their selection of sports...

XM is better as far as technology is concerned...seem to be a step ahead most of the time.

Does that mean a SINGLE unit or two units (XM Direct unit + adapter) that they've been using with other XM capable H/U?

I think the sq on sirius is pretty good(obviously better on better recordings). The sq thing seems to swing from one company to another(somebody on the sat radio newsgroup linked to a thread on an xm forum the other complaining about XM's sq).

I have sirius....love the channels, and for $13/month, it is a great deal. Some people like XM better, and some like Sirius better. Regardless of which one you choose, you should be VERY happy that the other exists. That choice drives the competition so each company works to improve.

I did a 3 day free online trial for XM. The choice was ok, but the connection kept dropping out about every 10 minutes. My Sirius connection was much better.

I personally have the chance to listen to both on an almost daily basis since I work @CC Roadshop. I think Sirius direct connect has better SQ hands down, it's not so compressed. And as stated, I like their rock stations a lot better.
