XFL is average at best SQ with high output (good sub for those who want to get loud under $200 bucks).

The american bass XR is only 20 bucks more but has better SQ (if your on a sub under $200 budget than I would grab the XR, better soft parts).

buddy ' i have 2 xfl 1044s black basket ' on a memphis 1000rms ' each sub getting 500 rms ' for a small amp they pound hardcore ' i have them in a small enclosure ' new bigger box is on the build but the lowest i played them is at 28 hz and they bang no smells i have them almost for 8 months no issues no coil smell ' get low ' rattle roof ' windows i have seen people on youtube put 2 xfl 12s on 3000 rms and they take them like a champ . just a good box cant wait for my new box tune to 32 hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i have 1 video on youtube not done with my setup though...
