Less box flex = more bass output. i made my 4th order from 1" mdf all around and the thing flex like crazy. and thats with just two type r 15's on a 1000w kenwood amp. the type x's get down so i would say with that big of a box yes double the whole thing and reinforce it too.im jealous of your type x hopefully thats my next buy after a new amp</blockquote>
