sounds good. I have 2 deals pending right now. What exactly happened w/ the treo amp? How did it blow? I just saw the title but never read the thread.

I thought it was styrofoam in the mosfets, but I guess that was just the glue they used (its a white color). Pretty much my car couldn't supply the power it needed. It dipped to low 11v's and went into protect a few times. Than I added a 2nd battery and pushed it a little harder. Smoke came out. Took it to Zed and stephan told me the all the mosfets and power supply was fried, so they replaced it all (cost me $200). He also added some coils that he said was suppose to help disperse the use of the mosfets and for some reason the amp didn't come with them (I'm guessing treo thought it wasn't worth the extra money to manufacture them with it). I didn't argue cause the guy's been building amplifiers for like 30-40 years.

Got it back, and ran it for about 1-2 months with my FI Q's than saw the US Acoustics on Ebay and picked those up. The treo's been sitting in my room for about a month now.

thats what stephan told me. but I dont really know what the internal parts of amplifiers do. Just make sure u have a good electrical system. I tried to run it off a 80amp stock alternator at first >.

thanks but no thanks on the treo. I guess Im gonna look into a lower priced amp like kicker or hifonics, PA or RF something in that range

The left model is a model they gave to a shop for a compeitition vehical. The Right one is an average treo (both pictures are from Ampguts) I circled the coils I was talking about

the mtx does Power

2 Ohm Load 1500 w x 1

and its been modded to run at a lower resistance so you can get more power.

but if thats not powerful enough for you than its cool, I just saw your title said 1500rms and than you said also 800-1000rms
