WTT: My Nine.2X for your Nine.2

I have a Nine.2X that is in perfect working/cosmetic condition. I have only been running it for two weeks, but im afraid that im overdriving my components.....so i want to cut the power in half.

Keep the better amp, and lower your gains?

You might upgrade to a comp set with higher power needs, and then you would be kicking yourself for getting rid of it.

I have OZ audio matrix elites and i am VERY happy with them. They get plenty loud and the mid can handle the 200 watts im throwing at it (they're rated at 100/200). The problem is that my tweeter can only handle 50/100 rms/peak, so i feel that the Nine.2 would be more suitable.

More power doesn't necessarily mean better...the amp should match up to the drivers and mine doesn't atm.

@djman: I want the Nine.2 as opposed to another brand because i want to match my Nine.1

I'll trade for a Nine.4 as well as that would allow me to either go active or send 150 watts to each component set as opposed to 200 watts.

Sorry...lol...i havn't checked this thread in a while. I was waiting for a PM, but never got one.

@Milenko515: My car is in the shop right now and i'm having my speakers tuned...i told the audio guys to see if they can turn down the highs and balance out the amp with the comps...i'll get back to you when i figure out if i'll need to get rid of the amp or not. I'll give you first dibs if i decide to trade.

@Lex: I'll give you second dibs if i decide to trade and milenko doesn't want it.
