Wtt: my blown 6k watt amp for a working 2-3k watt amp...

I have a cadence zrs-9000d that went into protect, then shut down completely on me. No light (red or green) comes on anymore. I'm not sure what happened but I don't wanna fool around with it. I was pushing two treo ssx's at .5 ohms. It has worked flawlessly for the 10-12 months I've had it. I'm looking for a big enough amp to push ONE of my ssx's. I'll add $ if necessary. Sorry guys. Amp is no longer up for trades. I finally opened it up and it's WAAAAY worse than I couldve imagined //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif - it's all sorts of sh!t burned up inside of there, lol! It smoked when it blew, but I didn't think it was that much really. Although it was in the very back of my suburban, lol!

I'll try to post pics after I get over the initial shock of my $1000 amp being worthless now, lol!

you should just see what it would cost to get it fixed.... not every this that is covered in ash is blown so it may not be to bad.

Yeah... it would probably cost at least $4-500 if it's even repairable. I'd buy another amp first. I've had a couple guys pm me saying that they could fix it and wanted to know if I'd sell it to them anyway. But...I couldn't really expect more than $100 - $150 at best, plus it's gonna cost me $50 to ship. My best bet is to hope I can find someone who wants it AND has another amp to trade me(obviously with cash on my end)...
