WTT Locally (Tampa, Clearwater): 12'' Fi Bl D1 Fully Loaded Sub for...

I have a 12'' Fi Bl that has dual 1 ohm coils, and is fully loaded for trade. Has a small problem, theres something underneath the dustcap that's loose. I've e-mailed Fi, and they've told me a new dustcap will fix it. Basically we think a peice of CA glue has come apart underneath where they solder the tinsels to the VC wires, then glob CA glue on them to hold it. The sub plays fine, just makes the popping sounds at lower volumes on low notes.

I would like to trade this sub for something similar (locally in Clearwater, Tampa, etc.), just dual 2 ohm coils, so I can run my MD3D at 1 ohm. If you have the same exact sub in dual 2 ohm, I will trade and add 20 bucks so you can buy a new dustcap. Also looking for an AQHD3 or HDC3.

I don't have a cam at the moment, PM me, we can talk and I can meet you with the sub in box, to show it's in perfect working order.

Will it? I havent heard much about the older MD3's, mine's an '06 I beleive, the inputs and outputs are all along the bottom of the amp. I never wanted to fry it on a stock 100 something amp alt and a little battery (SPV 44), seeing as most people running 2000rms have a H/O Alt and huge batteries. So you're sure .5 ohms can be run on basic electrical, at 2 ohms this bitty never gets warm, so I'm taking you're statement seriously, especially after beating on the amp I've come to find out it's pretty efficient.

Well sh!t, I guess I have something to do later on then. I just don't wanna push anything over the limit, I got this amp for a really good deal, and it was in very fair condition given the time it's been around. But under normal circumstances, (imp rise, daily system, 13v-14) how many RMS watts would it be close to? I know there's no real answer, but a ballpark estimate. I wanna push the BL pretty hard, it needs a re-cone soon anyway. But with 1200rms on 2 ohms, the BL seems at it's limit sometimes, but that's only on some songs.
