ha or xr and cmx plus a lil cash

were the specs identicle? and if so, did you have any problems with using the hertz with CMX mids? i just need some f*cking crossovers, so if they worked perfectly in the situation then im still interested lol....if you got em that is.

try to run active. Those mids sounds amazing even playing full range. 30-60hz is just like having a sub up front. I dont know how long they would last running full range, but they sure didnt sound like they were struggling when i hear them.

ive been running them active off a memphis 16x03 for a while now. and while i WOULD rather run active, i need more output. ive had SL69's in the back dash for a while now running off the deck. i want to put them back on my rear channels of my PG xenon but my mids need the rears to run active //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

.... I find it easier to get a speaker louder when it is ran active. Why have an amp on rear speakers? It really pulls the sound stage to the back. I have like 40rms to my tweets and mids up-front currently and they get plenty loud and sounds great IMO.

i like it LOUD lol. its just not loud enough for me. and it doesnt really bother me too much about having loud rear stage. despite all the psuedoscience floating around here, i dont think "only frontstage" is the be-all-end-all for sound quality. i prefer a nice balance between front a rear because it fills the entire car with sound. with just a front stage, it sound like youre listening to.....well....speakers. i dont want to be able to pinpoint where the music comes from, i want to be engulfed in sound lol.

running the cmx kicks on any xovers is a waste since it does so well on the lowe end, but since ur playin it loud, to low would not be good, so the xovers would work for u

lol, yeah i know. it just sucks paying for them when 1) the xovers cost like half the current value of the comps lol and 2)you OWN cmx xovers, however a scamming @sshole on the forums here wont send em back to you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
