WTT FOUR JL W7's 2 JL AMPS KICK A%Z BOX

A couple months ago I got a real nice JL Audio system put in my truck. I have a 10-12-10 W7 setup in a leather box with a suede panel for the amplifier openings, the box it's self ran me about $600. I'm running 1 JL 1000/1 and 1 JL 500/1 to the subs. I also have an extra blown 12" W7

Now, I really really like the sq of the 7's but I really do want ALOT more spl, I am looking specifically to trade for 2 18 Solo X's (newer black models) with an Amp (if big enough) or amps to power them. If anyone has any other good SPL systems to trade or any suggestions on what setup you think I should do I would appreciate the feedback. BTW I don't want horrible sq.

You'd make more $$ if you sold things seperately. Got some really nice stuff it's just hard to find the right buyer who is specifically looking for what you have. Good luck and BUMP for you.

Yeah, its in a sealed enclosure so they sound awesome, nice and low with a lot of punch. I was definitely looking at the DD's. I dont really know much about them. Good Quality? Any SQ? and does DD have anything bigger and would you recommend them?

You could always get a ported box made for your subs, you'd gain a lot of output.

Not as loud as the X's but still will be plenty loud. Either way you'd have to pay for a box and the X's need a really big box.

i had a solo x 18 and now i have a DD9518 and i like my DD 9518 better then my old solo x 18,so if i was you i would go DD all the way.

It will be a huge difference in SQ from the W7 to a DD SUB or Solo X.

Good quality subs. They should sound loud lol. I dont think you will be happy going from W7's to a DD Sub or Solox. If you want it louder I would consider getting a ported box for the W7's.

Maybe try looking into RE Audio, the XXX will sound very nice, if not better than the W7. But then again, your looking at about $800 a sub or more.

Honestly I really like it, i'm not too technical and don't really care about mixing freq. You can here different types of bass at such a good quality, which is really nice.
