i want to trade this amp for a less powerful amp for my btl. This is a bit too powerful for my system so im looking t downgrade to a nice 3-4krms amp. i will consider all trades but im mainly looking for a 3-4k rms amp.

look at the specs the 10,000 is a strapped pair at maxx watts,5000 is a single 1 maxx watts

i have a fully loaded one with hyper cut cooling so it can take a bit more than 2500

lol 2k is the rms but they can handle more depending on the options added

look at the specs the 10,000 is a strapped pair at maxx watts,5000 is a single 1 maxx watts

have to say your right benched one out at 15.4 volts @.7 and it did 3760 that was its sweet spot would shut off if any more volts were giving to it and it didnt like to go lower on the ohm load it would run lower but super dirty and it started to loss

i've owned 4 of the phd 10,000's they are decent amps but only around 3000 at 1 ohm....and i know what i'm talking about and i also know Carlos at Earthquake Sounds.....if your looking for a 3000 watt amp you already have one...if its too much power for you and you don't understand make believe specs...you may need a 1500 true watt amp.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

theyre max rated at 10,000 hence the name... you've heard lol ok stay out of my thread if you're just going to bash the amp with info you've "heard"

Based on the above comments, looks like he was right. I wish it actually did rated power though, I would have been interested.
