I might have a Pioneer 6000UB, bought it brand new from Crutchfield in Feb, still under warr, its currently being serviced by Pioneer for the Ground noise issue, but other than that its perfect.

I recently sold a Kicker 750.1 and miss that amp.

Understandable, the 880 and 980s are sweet HUs, wish I could get one, but im going with a DD HU in the near future, and I already have a active crossover (Memphis in my sig) so im good there. I just took my sub out today to clean up my install.

The 6000UB I have is a very good HU, nice built in EQ, Basic High and Low Crossovers and the USB input built in is esp nice one of the reasons I bought it.

I have a nice Alpine Phantom face...it can go active and has all sorts of crossover point and EQ adjustments....

Dont know, I assume the pico fuse is blown internally with the unit. I installed the unit temp in the car and never got back around to doing it correctly and got a short from a bad bump I hit in the road, causing the noise issue. Did not have the problem before this happened, unit work great.

Wrapped the RCAs in the back add that helped alot, but noise was still there. It was still under warrenty from Pioneer and Crutchfield so I sent it back to get fixed.

yea i want a 6000ub so i can use a usb but i am looking away from pionner because of the ground noise problem, so do grounding the rca's gix the problems for most people or wat
