WTT- Blown Arc Audio XXK 5150 5 channel for comps??

I have an Arc Audio XXK 5150 5 channel that still powered up and worked when I tested it last in September. I got it in a trade and didn't open the amp till a few weeks later and saw that it was in bad shape. It still worked, but after contacting Brad @ Arc Audio's tech dept. he said to not power it up to avoid further damage because it's still covered under Arc's $150 flat rate repair. That covers everything even a new board he said. I'm open to hearing trade and cash offers. Feel free to ask anything else.

My buddy could fix it for less than what they quoted you.

He fixed my exile 5k for $170. The tracings on the board were bad and the driver card, and the output section.

he is a member on CACO.

Well its like any repair. He has to see the damage first.

But here is another example.

I sold my 2005 US Amp AX3000DE to woman on ebay.

She blew THE SHIRT out of it. Like everything was fried.

It was only $150 to repair through john.

He fixes amps ALL THE TIME.

He is currently fixing an old school hifonics 8000. The amp he fixed before that was a DD Z2HV (7,000)

he runs an atomic 7000 in his car that he bought broken and fixed.

He also fixed an american bass VFL 1000.1 (10,000 watts)
