I have a 9831 that I have used for around two years, was in the car when i bought it. Due to my financial situation, I have been forced to sell the majority of my equipment for some extra cash to help pay my debt. I will eventually upgrade anyway, but not for a while, so i am looking for a descent quality but cheap deck to hold me over until the storm has passed.

This is a solid unit, one of the last great alpines made. Only features it lacks is a three way x over. Mine has its fair amount of scratches on the face, search for a thread though on how to restore a faceplate and it will be good as new. Only thing i have is the wiring harness, and i believe the case for the detachable face. All functions work properly, including the motorized face, however the internal amp shuts down periodically when its hot. For trade im looking for something basic, only really need preouts for my front stage and MP3 playback, Any brand is fine (Clarion, pioneer, lesser alpine, etc, not dual or anything like that).
Obviously looking for cash on your part depending on what you trade, hopefully looking for around 80+ and the deck from this. Letme know what you have!
