I have a mint condition 7998 that as the title says....I'm looking to trade for another Alpine unit + Ipod hookup. Sirius/XM would be nice too. Will add/subtract money depending on the deal. AIM = dgoldenzVT, or PM me here.

I would sell for the right price, but would rather trade since I'd have to find a new HU at almost the exact same time if I sold it (don't want to be without music for a week or two). I think these were released in....2000? I dunno, someone help me out here. They were the flagship aside from the F1 status line, and retailed for $899 if memory serves correct.

Clarion DXZ955MC? It'll do just about everything in the book. It does iPod and Sirius, and it has T/A and 3-way xovers, and whatnot. Color touchscreen, too..

I actualy just got done taking pictures of my Alpine CDA-9830 I was selling to someone that ended up getting a different unit instead...

I will be able to post or link or email pics later tonight when I get home if you are interested. some basic info on it:

4V preouts

iPod compatable(I never bought the adapter, as I don't have an iPod)

It is in near mint condition, absolutely no wear on any buttons.

I have 2 face plate trim pieces, the cage, and case for the faceplate.

Only downfall: No pigtail. I am in the process of finding one(if anyone knows where to direct me for the pigtail, lemme know!)

but other than that everything is there, and everything is about a 9.5/10 in cosmetic condition, and 10/10 in functionality.

I'll have to do some research on the different HU's offered here later. I haven't been in the car audio trading world in a bit, so I'm not sure of the quality/features of each.
