this amp never went up in smoke or got all toasty it would power on but no sound an amp repai man local to kingsuv that has been going thru all the blown amps repaired and replaced all the overrated parts in the amp

clamped at 2650w peak at 2ohm

Can this amp handle a .5 ohm load comfortably? Because my DB Drive PT2000.1D is hooked up and doesn't even think about getting warm @ .5 ohms... I'm interested in this amp because I need more power at .5 ohm only if it can run at that for more than just burps, for I can run my DB Drive all day @ .5 without any problems. My other alternative is to keep my amp and run .25 ohm load with two 15" D1 ohm. Which my amp is capable but thats typically for burps and of course using ample electrical upgrades.

i highly doubt it could do .5ohm or id keep it lol

Yeah kinda figured it wouldn't run comfortably at .5 ohm, but it looks like it would make a great amp for someone running up to a 1 ohm load. GLWS!

As far as an amp that interests you, my amp might be the one for you, if you sell your Diablo. My DB Drive PT2000.1D clamped at:

2112 Wrms @ 1 ohm/14.4v

3168 Wrms @ .5 ohm/14.4v

This amp can see up to 18v so can run 16v application with no problems. Only reason for getting rid of this amp is that my ideal goal is it run about 5k Wrms to my pair of 15's. If I could find another one of these amps I'd definitely just buy another and strap the two but I have never seen another for sell. Retail is $1599. I have original box and I think all the manuals/papers that came with it if you might want it. Well just let me know if you would be interested in it and we can discuss a price..

Is it stable at 1ohm. I have an aq2200d that can do .66ohm assuming you have the electrical to support it. PM me if interested.
