WTB/WTT thread rules

dude someone forsure hates you lol. this post got reported too
Yep, noticed that too. It's alright though, I got connections. This mystery be getting solved as we speak, hater gun be exposed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

He gunna piss the mods off, that's for sure. Getting a whole bunch of pointless reports aint gunna sink well with them.

I dont like the rules because I spent forever typing out a monster FS thread and i didnt leave my "feedback" thing at the bottom and it all got deleted. and the rules are made for people to not get "ripped off". i guess there really are that many people out there who buy without knowing the person, what they are selling and so forth that it needed to be addressed. I feel sorry for those people that were too dumb to research before they sent a stranger their money
Did you send me a message asking me to re-open it after putting your refs in your sig or offer to put the refs in the thread if i undeleted it? NO.

Yeah, hence why it is all a crock, and ref's in the sig is a better method.
This combined with Itrade = win

no it was in the dome. I guess they just pick and choose where and who to punish. I think I said something relating to sperm
Lies. It was not in the Dome, it was in the wiring section.

iTrader is a joke as well. It can be rigged. There is no true protection. And just making more hoops to jump through makes the honest people less likely to post. If a scammer wants to make money.....he will take the time to do the hoops to screw multiple people.
In the end it is ultimately the buyers responsibility to cover his own arse. Making BS rules to protect the stupid is not going to help anything.
Making up hypothetical situations is fun, isn't it?

I guess because there is no 'true protection' we might as well have none at all, right? Seriously, you keep coming back to 'we cant stop all scamming, so why stop any of it'... which is simply nonsense. Utter nonsense.

I guess in your world the majority of scammers on a relatively obscure website on the internet, trying to scam people out of a couple hundred bucks for some stereo equipment, are all rocket scientist elite internet hacker gurus.

I can tell from your attitude, that you have never been scammed before.

Kinda funny how quickly he went from "i think it was in the dome" to "it was in the dome", huh? As soon as he said "i think it was in the dome", I knew it wasn't.

lol.. i think it was in the dome too

Well then sherlock, you would be wrong in your ASSumption. Because I have been scammed.....and it was even with all these "rules" in effect. So like I said prior......it is up to the buyer to cover his own arse. I assumed it was a legit deal cause he followed the rules......I knew better after that. And hench why I stand by the rules don't ensure anything.

I like itrader. People who've dealt with me put my name in their sig and forget about it. You think just because someone has a bunch of names in their sig it means they're a good person to deal with? I could go add a dozen names to mine right now, it's not like anyone ever checks up on them. Even if someone DID try and contact some of the references, I for one wouldn't remember any of those dealings. With the itrader you get the person's name, the date, a short feedback message, and a link to the original thread. It doesn't get much better than that...

Even if I believe you were scammed (which Im not saying I do), then it was your own naivety and lack of self protection that allowed the scam to occur. You claim to understand all the potential ways the rules can be broken, yet you also claim you got scammed because you assumed the guy must be legit because he followed the rules. Which is it? These rules are not here to allow buyers to be lazy and careless. They are also not meant to insure every transaction. Duh?

Post a link to the transaction. Im curious how this fellow forged his ref list, itrader status, and pics with his screen name on them.
