WTB Wire to Run Comps!

Just bought my mid amp and some comps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/happydance.gif.a963168fea27d8453c3ec467ddcf9e1c.gif so Im gunna be needing some wire to hook them up... I was thinking probably 12 gauge? Ill probably need about 100 ft. since I gotta run 4 runs (both left and rights +/-) to the front where I will mount the Xovers and then run the mids and tweets +/-'s from there... Let me see what you got or if you have any suggestions!

go on ebay and look for 2 conductor and 4 conductor 14-16 gauge spools. will be cheaper to do then buying name brand speaker wire

O ok thanks... I am just not used to what speaker wire will hold power wise...

i wasnt either until i used that calculator. FYI on that calc. each total watts u get is for one run of wire, so if you have 20 ft of wire and all variables it equals 67 watts. that means that each wire in the speaker wire can cary 67 watts, meaning ur total power able to carry to that speaker is 134 watts.

I suggest knu konceptz. or get some scoshe wire from walmart, that stuff is always good and cheap.

i love that little crap wire most companies give you with your speakers it isn't good for anything

I may go with Knu since its fairly cheap and good stuff... but the Scoshe I would use maybe as remote wire lol
