A friend of mine has a Python 990 for $325 and a Python 872 for $260. Both are BNIB, never opened. They are basically the same except for the 990 has the 2 way pager with the screen on the remote. Both are alarm/remote start/keyless entry units.

They are pretty much the same unit just different Name. When I purchased mine I was actually going to get the Python 872..but I found the Viper one cheaper on craigslist.

791xv = Remote start

And I can get a 791xv for like $200, yours are wayy over my budget, no offense. You're always tryin to help me but I just don't have $300 to spend

Before I offer I gotta know exactly how they compare to the 791xv since thats the unit I was about to buy

i like how the 5901 has a back up remote and that the lcd remote is rechargable.

i have the 791xv and ive gone thru about 4 remotes in 2 years. when you drop it alot, it messes up and also the clip keeps breaking on them.

also i heard the 5901 is a longer range, i think 1 mile and has some new technology sst? i dont know what it is but i heard its good.

i also like that alarm, i have a couple friends with that alarm.
