FYI its not really that important how old the batt is. What you really want to know is how was it maintained. You can ruin a batt in a few days..
P.S that optima is half of what my deka is.. Not hating jus letting u know

Also I didnt compare my optima to anything in this thread, I was simply giving it as an option for the OP.

Alot of ppl been having failures with optimas... Ive been lucky that mine has lasted around 7yrs! Tho its on its last leg i can tell buy the dimming of the lighs...

In no way was I trying to degrade ur batts or hurt your sale. I was simply giving the OP facts that he may or may not know already. Sry if I sounded like I was going against you.

I've got 2 werker 80ah batts ....55lbs each. Very solid.....thy were data backup n sat in AC room for 3 years maintained very well they still look and perform new...i have four on my pb xa3000d with stock electrical @ 1ohm.....will do 100$ each plus shipping

PS i have 4 in my trunk with w khc1800 under hood and after 24hrs in >30 degree weather and all sit wired together @ 12.6+

gl with running 3kw on a stock alternator and probably no big III with a $150-$200 battery.

I ran 3k on a stock 130amp alt and 2 dekas that I got (local) for around $200 so can it be done yep sure can. Daily beating mid 13's burps high 12's.
