WTB: used amp that does 1000 at 2 ohms

I'm looking for a good amp that does 1000 at 2 ohms, or something close to that power. I really like Rockford, alpine, or anything else that'll actually put out good power. looking to spend around $100 shipped, less if possible. might pay more if it's a solid amp

I have a JBL BP1200.1, does more like 1300 @ 2 Ohms.

It has a couple problems, the speaker output screw was stripped, so it has direct 8GA wire soldered into the inputs, and has 2 holes for 2 inch fans cut into the bottom plate, pretty cleanly cut, but the fans are gone. It may be blown went into protect when it was powered, but it might have been the blown coil on my sub making it do that, I'll test it with a different sub if you're interested in it.

130 Shipped if it works, 75 if it doesn't.

Us amps USA-400. Mounting feet are cutoff and scratched heatsink but is 1200 at 2ohms and hand made in America. I will go 130 shipped. Let me know before I come to my senses.

Yes I used it on my test bench since I've had it due to no mounting feet. I also have a USA-300 that is rated 800 at 2ohms. I would guess it does closer to 1000 and it does have mounting feet lol.

Tbh OP if that's your budget I would aim for something that does 500w @ 2 ohms cause I gaurantee it will be a much higher quality amp. From there just focus on making everything else efficient (enclosure mainly)

I agree. That price is real low for 1000 good watts. Your going to get cheap amps or amps with a problem such as mine with no mounting feet.

Pm sent and yes the enclosure is the most important part. It will make up for a lot .

No,(just scored 3 minty Xtant's) not a fan of those amps but that is cheap for one. Just be sure to test it out.
