and, i have already been to: wal mart, radio shack, best buy, circuit city, triple c computers, office depot, office max, and a few others. none of them even carry them. All they carry are usb extensions!

First, if you don't mind I would like to know why do you want to plug your xbox to your PC, back up data? networking?

what im trying to do is load music/pics and what not on my 360. Im just not seeing how this is gonna work with an ether net cable. Im wanting to take the songs off my pc, and put them on my 360 HD....

I might be wrong, but as far as I know those USB ports on your xbox are inputs, I mean they are for keyboard, headset or any other devices, I don't think they work to transfer files from your PC are they are not meant for that, but like I said I don't have an xbox and I might be wrong.

Ethernet cable is a way to create a point to point access, this way is possible from your pc to detect your xbox as a storage media or maybe a workstation which means you probably could access the harddrive and just copy files to there.

One more option is try to use a Thumb drive, USB memory stick or whatever you wanna call it, if xbox "see" this device it might be easier this way, what about card reader?

you could load files to your memory card and then load the files on your xbox...

I'm just thinking some options for you man, I don't know if they work for you
