WTB TUBE amp car audio BUTLER, US amps, PPI, and so on

I am looking for a very good SQ amp and have been told to go the TUBE route for a little different sound than I am used to.

Looking for BUTLER, US Amps, PPI, Phaze audio, Milbert, and so on as I think there are only a few companies that ever made these.

Budget is "AROUND $225 shipped" Yes I know that is lower but we can work on price depending on the equipment if need be.

Just let me know what you got or if you have something that may be superior to these TUBE amps for a couple of Component sets for SQ let me know.

Maybe new at retail but I just came across one last night on ebay that I missed getting by about 2 minutes as it did not last long as it was $215 shipped and worked perfectly with very minor cosmetic damage.

I wanted to double check the specs on ampguts and when I went back to select the buy it now 2 minutes later someone had already jumped on it.

Sooo still looking guys so let me know what you have even if it is slightly over my budget I may be willing to a bit more depending on the amp.

A great SQ amp would work also to run my components. As I am am looking for something that will make me say WOW to the sound quality of my Front Stage of Diamond Hexes.

There are 3 version of the Butler Tube Driver amps.

There is Butler, Phaze Audio and PPI/phaze Audio, 1 and 2 are the best being that Butler supplied the internal parts and have Butler Quality, PPI made ones were junk and didnt sound good at all.

I have a version 2 Phaze Audio TD 1500 and it sounds amazing on subs and front stage.

I would sell mine but not a penny under 300.00 I just had it checked out by Butler Audio (cost me 85.00 bucks) and it works perfect.

You can probably find a Zed/Planet Audio for way cheaper or maybe even a US amps tube amp for a better price then you will find a Butler. Most people who have them know what they are worth you never know though you might get lucky and get one on the cheap.

But stay away from the Phaze Audio/PPI made Tube Driver Butler Clones they are junk.
