No there are TC9 motors out there with copper rings/sleeves in the gap of the motor. I am just looking for a motor. i know they were used in some Sound Splinter RLP12's

well that nice for you, and not sure why you wasted time to post that. Plus if you knew anything, and can read i need a TC9+ which is a double 1" not your wimpy double .75" slug motor. no such thing as a tc9+ . there is 3 versions of tc9.

im going to assume that it changes the magnetic field,since copper is not a magnetic metal it moves it or reforms it to be more efficient for the coil
