buy new off ebay the memphis line level controller. for around 50$. best one i ever used. voltage up to 9 volts output.

I don't need one to adjust level, just to lower or raise the pre-amp output the 5v ill be plenty in my itty bitty rex.

yeah pre amp voltage on rca's. the memphis allows you to adjust the voltage of the pre amp signal that leaving from 1 volt to 9. 100db s/n ratio. thd of like .01%

Same difference really, just different term. I just want to adjust mine from 1-5 or whatever as thats all I will need to do.
