wtb SPL-Lab Wireless Bass Meter

im still in the market for another one.

the one i got the battery is dead.

now i did massage spl-lsb to see what it would cost to send it back and have the battery replaced. have not heard back yet.

Why is it $120?
thats what they told me.

as i cannot replace it. i took the cover off to see what kind and i was going to prder one.

but the hole inside is covered im a clear rubber type stuff.

they said that they would not fix it and send it back but would exchange it for a new one..

well i have to send the this one and 120 .

Worse case send it back and I will refund you. It was in a drawer for two years. I hooked it up via usb and tested it. It worked perfectly. I had no idea the battery would go bad.
i think i said ti but if i did not...

it does work if you keep it plugged in.. i tried it in my truck.

i had to use mt inverter so i could keep it plugged in.

This is why we offer extended warranties with these at time of purchase. They must be very secure during operations up to 180dB so extensive glue is used to secure the internal components.

The operation of replacing the battery is very dangerous if not enough experience in our equipment and in soldering as the battery needs to be physically soldered in place at the terminals with a new connection.

Heat + Live battery = potential disaster if not trained.

The board needs to then be reheated to firmly secure the components in place during high pressure operation to ensure nothing breaks inside.

We offer the fastest turn around time possible by doing direct replacements and refurbishing used units at a later time.

We can do this as we move a LOT of inventory throughout the year.

The new WiFi Wireless Meters are more user friendly and can be replaced by end user.

The battery we chose retains the same battery life as the Bluetooth model and can be purchased from China for under $10.

We use this battery for the new meters to ensure that even if/when the battery no longer has life, it will not be expensive to replace.
