WTB: someone make me an adapter!

can someone make me a wooden adapter to fit a 6.5 speaker in a 5x7/6x8 location? My shop did my install but what they did was just put the speaker in the hole and sound deadened the opened parts that werent filled up by the speaker so i dunno how effeicient that is
