dont really matter what brand as long as they work would perfer to have them come with a xover but if they dont i can get some so post whatever you got
ok?much to learn you have, for one, tweeters aren't ment to be mounted in the a-pillar
general rule of thumb is the closest the tweeter is to the midrange the more drastic and lifelike the imaging will be. Not good to ruin the interior by mounting tweeters in the pillar.
2nd, you don't want cheap tweeters, save yourself from buying another set and get it done right the first time.
3rd, 100-150 rms through tweeters (3khz+, will cause severe hearing damage for any length of time, have you ever heard 150rms through a tweet? should be more than enuff to please a decent sized audience
ok?
1st) i dont want them in my doors because then ill have to run the wires throught my door jam and that would mean drilling another hole and i have two spots on each panel in the front where they screw into and i would just put the mount on that so it wouldnt be messing anything up i know because iv done it before and nothing happend to them.
2nd) i just need tweeters for cheap because im going to be getting 4 10s in my car running 1400rms and i dont have an amp for my insides so i still want to hear my music in my car till i get paid from the job i just started.
3rd) i have heared 150rms on some tweeters in my brothere old 76 4 door caprice he had the 3 10" L7s and we couldnt hear the music because he only had 2 6x9s and a front dash speaker so he put 3 pairs of kicker tweeters and put them on a 400rms @4ohm amp

that shit was loud as **** it wasnt that clear on the outside thought but you could hear that shit for like 20-25 houses down when he was coming just the vocals before you heared the bass but i saw no real point in buying 3 pairs when 1 would have done the trickLOL @ Your brother.
i saw those on craigslist for 15 each thats what i was going to buy if no1 had them here and i have 3way 4x6s and 3 way 6x9s i had a set of comps before and i dint like them not for me plus i couldnt put them in my doors because they dont come with holes cut for speakers so i was going to cut some and when i pulled my panel off the hole was only big enough for some 4x6s so thats what i put in there and i dont care what the think i should get i have tryed alot of stuff and IMO and in alot of other peoples opinions when i had the same inside set up with some tweets all on a 250x2 @4ohm amp with 3 12s on 1000wrms it sounded good enough for me alot of people liked the way it sounded hell everyone that **** there heared my system liked it, the guys at shops liked it so i think im good with what i got not to sound rude or anything to you im just tired of people knockin on my shit when they dont know how it sounds everyone thinks right off bat it would sound like shit just because they have high priced stuff in there cars that they think is the shit not trying to disrespect no1 on here im just saying you call me unexperienced DECIPHA and you know what i am but that doesnt mean i dont know what i like and what sounds good to me and as long as it sounds good to me and is still MY car imna do what i like to itJeez dude. These guys are only trying to help you set up a decent sound system. Your car is going to sound like *** with 4 10s and a pair of tweeters. You need mids in order to hear voices correctly. A full component set is what you should be after. But to help you on your quest...
