I have a 15" Dayton Audio DVC sub with box and a nice old school Premier PRSX720 2-Channel Amplifier. (800 watts RMS @ 4 ohms)

Dayton DVC sub has extraordinary SQ (for a 15")

That dayton setup wouldn't compare to his current setup. The XXX and Memphis would def. be a good upgrade.
