Bump. Any 6x9's under a 2.5" mounting depth is what I need.

Or if anyone can recommend some good quality ones that will fit let me know please.

i have some shallow mount 6.5 subwoofers that give off some awesome mid bass....they'll fit in a 6x9 openimg with an adapter plate

I was thinking about going that route. If I can't find any 6x9's I'll look into that. Thanks.

ive put hertz speakers on the back of an old skool eclipse which is the same thing pretty much

I figured he was wanting more midbass than what most 6.5's put out...I know my shallowsubs have the mid bass if not more than any 6x9 I ever heard especially a shallow mount 9

but I dont like the sq of blaupunkt speakers. I've had them in the past and was not satisfied.
