Guys, I am looking to purchase roughly 50-100sqft of deadener to finish off my floor and some other minor areas around the civic. Currently my entire trunk and front doors are matted with dynamat extreme, I used to get 36sqft bulk packs for $80, not anymore though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Raammat, Dynamat extreme, or damplifier please. Raammat is the lowest I am willing to go, however if I can get a good price on the 2 higher brands thats cool too, it depends on what you have available. Paypal ready if the deal is right.

peel n seal, edead, fatmat and all that shit.
?????!?!!? Peal and seal is the only "fake" deadner on that list! HORRIBLE! lol Edead (the new stuff) is pretty good. Of course it's not on the level of Dynamat extreme or damplifier but it can still get the same job done with a few layers as the others.

Fatmat works well too!

I dunno from what I have been reading fatmat and edead are some shit....they are asphalt based right? doesnt that shit stink in your car?

the original v1 did **** pretty bad. Unless it was super hot outside and you really pushed it down it didn't stick too well.

I have used the v1se2 and the v3 "Liquid" and both work great. I used to have dynamat extreme and it was a little better than the v1se2.

The v3 is REALLY easy to put on and covers alot of area for the price. I put it on my friends trunk lid outside in the heat and each layer dried in about 10-15min and was rock solid. It made a pretty decent difference on rattling and sound.

Just make sure you mix it up really well because once it sits for a while it seperates terribly and you pretty much NEED one of those paint stirrer add ons for a power drill.

Good luck either way man

Real deadener. lol

FatMat is shit, that's all i know. You're in MD so you may not run into the whole heat problem. But in 90+ degree weather, that shit came RIGHT off.

a buddy of mine just bought the latest e-dead and he said it sucked compared to the dynamat.
yeah well dynamat extreme is abit more than I want to spend. I will be buying some sort or liner to put on top of the deadening.

yeah with shipping more expensive than ebay, which is roughly about $130 for 36sqft.

Real deadener. lol

Yeah im not doing fatmat, and yeah I do get a couple days where its 90+ and sometimes even in the 100's from time to time.

I dont want to cheap out on this. I am thinking more and more of doing my entire cabin area. I already have my front doors, and trunk done. I could use a tad bit more in my trunk.

I only have liner on my trunk lid and rear area of the trunk so I would probably need 80-100sqft of that shit too.

**** this is getting expensive fast.

I saw this guys 1992 civic: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3083058

at the bottom of the page he went ALL OUT in his car. over 200sqft of deadening.
