WTB RE XXX 6.5 Components

Yep, thinking of buying myself a xmas gift. Was looking into some new components, and I've been wanting these for a while.

Preferably looking for the newer model, I believe they released a new model in '07 or '08? Not sure, saw a thread posted on DIYMA and they looked like this:

Lookin for those pretty much, want the whole set.

I'm not 100% set on these XXX comps, if you have something in a similar price range, post up here, I'm interested. Only things that I require are that it be a 6.5" component set, crossovers don't matter as I plan on running active anyways.

Would prefer silk dome tweeters, and something with a swivel or angle mount since I have my tweeters off axis.

They can be had new from WoofersETC for $400 I believe, used tend to fly around $250-$300 from what I've seen. $0 - $400 pretty much, but if it's a deal I can't pass up I may go up higher.

Thanks for the info, I actually hadn't checked, lol.

But I would rather not do this transaction through eBay, not a fan of it really. If it comes down to it I suppose I will, but would like to pick up a set here for a decent price before I go to eBay and buy gray-market and hope it works..

Damm that's a a good price. I might jump on those myself. I've seen a set go for 300 or more. I want 2 sets of mids for my doors on my new car and these would be perfect.

No worries, you aren't jacking it, well you are, but I'm not minding. I do plan on running these active, and after seeing that price I'll likely order tomorrow...
