Looking at the NT's along side the XTR's I kind of like the looks of the older XTR's better for some reason. They are both incredible amps though, some of the best ever produced. I sure wish they would put the same type of connectors for the speaker wires though. I hate those pigtail wiring connectors, tough to make them look neat.

I am just wondering what kind of gains in sound quality there would be over the XTR-475. As much as I would love to have both I can only afford one and would have to sell the XTR-475 to recoup some of the costs. I would also lose the ability to fade front to rear. Maybe I should just dump the rears and run the front three alone.

well my 10 year collection is all gone, shipped out today. One buyer took it all. 2 nt100, 2 nt200, 2 hcca2100, 1 2250 the beast, 2 xtr3752, 2 nt6s comps, 4 mb6r midbass, 8 xovers, lot full of din cables, all coils/caps/xover parts, extra hcca and xtr amp xovers modules, 3 amp heatsinks. Everything NEW in the boxes, only 3 seen a few shows.

as far as the xtr compared to the NT, there is NO comparison. Take it from someone who has used them where it counts, in shows. With over 136 trophies, and 80%+ being first place, i can tell you without a doubt the NT's cant be beat. It was voted the best amp ever produced for a reason. That is just helpful advice. Thanks to everyone who has pm or emailed me on the amps. Like losing your kids.lol

Its funny, I knew they needed to go. At least they are going to be used. But kinda deep inside, I really wanted to keep them. But man is my wife happy. She says all that junk is gone. "junk", boy she sure knows how to hurt someones feelings!!LOL.
